I completely missed this in the last few days, but home computer pioneer Bill Godbout has died in the camp fire, He was one of the first to make computer components for the hobbyist, It could be said with out him there would be no OppO.

I never had an S-100 bus machine. Those seemed to be a bit above me on the geekiness scale. I was an Apple ][ person, but I remember all the ads in the early magazines from Godbout electronics. His loss is no more a tragedy than the other souls who died in this fire , but it makes it more personal.
